This is one informative book! I wish I had this book when I was young and starting out on my own. Ms Doerfler gives some really sound advice about what to do and traps to avoid when you are leaving the safety net of your parents home to start your life. Life as a grown-up is hard! She expresses that very well! She gives you a snapshot into her life thus far and the struggles she has had and still does. As an adult, you have to make some tough choices and most of the time you are not going to like the ones you have to make. It's like I told my kids "You know you are grown when have to decide between paying bills and eating food" sometimes you have to go hungry. Great job Miranda, I loved it! One more thing, selling your plasma (blood not your big screen tv) can help some make ends meet! :)Product details

Nicely done miranda!
Just the kick in the ass I need as an adult! This would make a great gift for anyone trying to "adult!" Miranda is spot on with her advice and unique experiences. I chose 5 stars for the advice given, I foresee myself using. Truly a guide for those seeking to navigate their hard-knock lives.

This time Miranda has stepped out of her comfort zone of horror/thriller writing and offered a self-help book. How Do I Adult? has something for everyone of any age. So if you are a young person just starting the road to adulthood or someone older going in a new direction, this book is a must read. Great advice from somebody who has "been there, done that".
More sort of just the person who has seen the trail a few steps ahead of you.
Not preachy or authoritative, but makes many definitive statements. Great if you're confused and you think everyone else seems to have things figured out. Doerfler had figured out a few things which she generously shares, but still manages to convey that sense of bewilderment that can confront anyone of any age when they seem in over their heads. In that way, she provides comfort and encouragement

I love Miranda's style of writing! This book is perfect for all ages and would make a great gift for those graduating high school / college and ready to take a step into the "real world" . It gives practical and fun advice on how to be an adult and what to expect. This book is full of things that no one teachers you in school but things that would have been helpful if they had. Super easy to read and a great way to learn more about the author! THIS IS A MUST READ!
Also, I recommend checking out her other short stories/ novels! Huge Fan!
